25 years of German Unity: AIDA Cruises anchors in Frankfurt am Main
Germany’s leading cruise line AIDA Cruises is joining the celebrations for “25 years of German Unity” at the Main metropolis Frankfurt from October 2nd to the 4th together with the Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Over one million visitors are expected to attend this year’s traditional citizens’ festival.
At the Museumsufer (Museum Shore) in Frankfurt / Schaumainkai, big and little cruise fans can explore the AIDA vacation world in its full variety. The new flagship AIDAprima, to be inaugurated in Hamburg next year, is the star of the AIDA Beach Club. AIDA had beach sand delivered to the Main for the festivities. Visitors can relax on lounge chairs with a cool drink and dream of their next vacations, or go on a virtual tour on board of the AIDA ships with digital glasses. Travel consultants give interested visitors a glimpse of the AIDA world and can reserve guests’ desired staterooms for the next AIDA voyage right there at the event.
AIDA awaits its visitors on Friday from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In 2016, AIDA Cruises will write history as the first company to offer cruises departing from Hamburg year round. Starting in April 2016, the Cruise Center Steinwerder will be the departure and arrival port for AIDAprima’s seven-day round-trip voyages to cities in Western Europe.
