AIDA Cruises introduces new Nordic voyages with AIDAbella

Rostock, 16. January 2017

In summer, AIDAbella will be setting sail for some of the most beautiful spots along the Baltic Sea and in Norway. The cruises depart from Kiel.

Guests can choose between two new travel routes with AIDAbella. On the route “Norwegian Fjords,” they can marvel at natural wonders such as the wide Seven Sisters waterfalls, the steep cliff sides of Geirangerfjord, or take a ride on the 18-kilometer-long serpentine mountain road Trollstigen with a spectacular view of wild mountain clefts. Stops on the voyage include Bergen, Hellesylt / Geirangerfjord, Åndalsnes and Molde, Trondheim, Alesund, Eidfjord and Stavanger. This 10-day cruise is offered from July 14-24, 2017, and August 11-21, 2017, starting at 1,445 euros* per person.

The second route takes guests to the Baltic. Treasures like Tallinn’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the splendor of the Tsarist period are as fascinating as the majestic skerry landscape. On this 9-day cruise, Tallinn, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm, Danzig and Copenhagen are visited. The Baltic Sea cruise is offered from July 24 to August 2, and August 2-11, 2017 (starting at 1,275* euros per person).

From August 21 to September 3, 2017, AIDAbella will sail toward the sun from Kiel to Palma de Mallorca. On this 13-day cruise, guests travel at a leisurely pace around Denmark, down the English Channel, along the Portuguese coast, and through the Strait of Gibraltar to the main Balearic Island. Diverse shore programs are offered during the stops in Dover, Le Havre, A Coruña, Lisbon, Cádiz, Malaga and Valencia. The cruise can be booked starting from 1,395 euros* per person.

Guests enjoy boundless variety on board AIDAbella. Wonderful relaxation in the wellness oasis or exciting shows in the evening quickly make daily cares vanish. Seven restaurants on board offer an astounding selection of culinary highlights. Sports enthusiasts can play volleyball, work out, or do yoga. Specialized lecturers on board tell guests about the countries and cultures of the various destinations. Nothing is lacking for an all-round perfect cruise summer in the North.
