AIDA starts fifth season of the year

Rostock, 05. January 2018

Once the fifth season of the year begins, Carnival is celebrated aboard all twelve AIDA ships as well. Guests on board get to enjoy the perfect mix of restorative vacation and festive revelry in distant lands, so they don’t have to miss out on the traditional Carnival celebrations.

Guests can look forward to typical Carnival delicacies, a Carnival Party for the big revelers and a Children’s Carnival for the little ones. Naturally, the festivities will also feature the Rhineland “Frühschoppen” – morning beer – the Rose Monday carnival gathering with a lampooning speech and decorated floats, the Carnival Prince and his Maiden and AIDA’s eleven-member Carnival Committee, and lots of festive decorations with paper streamers and confetti. Candy collectors will have plenty of fun too.

During their Carnival vacation, our little pirates and mermaids will get to enjoy a colorful world of adventure at the AIDA Kids & Teens Club with a fantastic entertainment program. Meanwhile the water fun available on all ships and the gigantic water slides aboard AIDAprima and AIDAperla will be a standing invitation to go for a dip.

Naturally, aside from all the Carnival festivities on board AIDA, our guests can also be sure of a great vacation: En route to fascinating destinations, our guests will discover how Carnival is celebrated in other countries – from “Helau” in the Caribbean on a sandy beach beneath the palm trees to “Alaaf” in the Canaries, where a remarkable Carnival is staged every year in Santa Catalina Park in Las Palmas, on Gran Canaria.

To ensure perfect recovery after all this revelry, guests on board can enjoy a leisurely visit to the AIDA Body & Soul Organic Spa. The wellness facilities aboard AIDAperla and AIDAprima feature a number of different saunas, several indoor and outdoor pools, a tepidarium and a fireside room.

Those who don’t want to take part in the Carnival revelry on board the AIDA fleet can simply relax, sample the exquisite spa amenities, partake of the extensive range of cuisine, and enjoy the other pleasures that the diverse entertainment programs have to offer.

All AIDA festive cruises can be booked at travel agencies, by calling the AIDA Customer Center at +49 (0)381/202 707 07 or at www.aida.de. More information is available at www.aida.de/festtage.
