AIDA in winter 2020 / 2021: Great travel adventures from Sugarloaf Mountain to Sydney

Cruise company AIDA Cruises offers the perfect remedy for those yearning for distant lands with its new world cruise routes aboard AIDAaura in winter 2020 / 2021, which can be booked now. Guests can look forward to fascinating moments in South America, sun, the South Seas, New Year’s Eve in Sydney, or breathtaking experiences in South Africa.

Fascinating South America
AIDAaura will set sail from Hamburg on October 26, 2020, and will reach San Antonio, Chile, after a 36-day voyage. In between AIDAaura will call at 12 destinations offering a variety of thrills for explorers. After stops in the English Channel and Lisbon, guests can look forward to dream destinations such as Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego, and Cape Horn on the southernmost tip of South America. This cruise comes to an end on December 1, 2020.

Sun, South Seas, Sydney
The second leg of the cruise starts from Chile and will head west to Mauritius. This 48-day cruise from December 1, 2020, to January 18, 2021, will take in destinations including Tahiti, Bora Bora, New Caledonia, Tonga and Fiji where guests will have the opportunity to snorkel among schools of colorful fishes, ray and marine turtles.
In Australia, the ports of call will include metropolises such as Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. One dazzling highlight of this cruise is New Year’s Eve in Sydney. Guests have the chance to enjoy the world-famous fireworks against the legendary backdrop of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbor Bridge, and welcome in the new year from the other end of the world. After plenty of adventures Down Under, AIDAaura will continue her voyage across the Indian Ocean in the direction of Mauritius.

Discovering South Africa
AIDAaura will set out on the third leg of her world cruise on January 18, 2021. Starting from the island paradise of Mauritius, the 33-day cruise firstly heads for Madagascar. In Nosy Be and Antsiranana AIDAaura’s guests will have enough time during leisurely shore excursions to get to know the impressive fauna and flora, as well as the different cultures.
Table Mountain and the view from the Lion’s Head in Cape Town, the animal world of the savannas, the gigantic sand dunes of the Namib Desert – just a few of many highlights that guests will experience in Southern Africa. On the way back to Europe, AIDAaura will make a stop in Gambia, West Africa. The cruise continues on to Gran Canaria and Vigo, in Spain and Cherbourg in France, before coming to an end in Hamburg on February 20, 2021.

AIDAaura’s 2020 / 2021 world cruise and its different legs can be booked now. An Early Booker Plus discount of up to 1,000 euros per person for the 1st and 2nd person in the stateroom will be available until April 30, 2020, for a limited number of places.
